I think I’m pregnant …

Y’all,

My pretend ovaries are on overdrive right now. There are so many new little babies in my life and I simply cannot take it.

I mean, when is science going to let me and Bae have babies? To be honest, he probably should be the one to carry our children but I got them baby making hips, lol!

In all seriousness, I’m super excited at the prospect of having kids and we are … saving up to pay the 40 - 60k to adopt our first and perhaps only child.

Now, some of you are wondering why we can’t just do public adoption. Believe me, my heart would overflow with joy at the prospect, but for lots of mostly logistical reasons, it will simply not work out for our family, at least I don’t think it can. Of the many issues with public adoption, the fact that a child could be pulled from your home if a “real” family member is found who is willing to take care of the child. This … my heart wouldn’t be able to take.

So for now, I bask in the glow of the many newborns our friends and family are blessed to have. I dream of a day when we will welcome our own.

Now, I need grandma an’ nem and all these future aunties and uncles to be on standby because we are gonna need some help, lol!

In any case, we will keep you posted, but for now, we will party and live it up as best as we can.
