I’m LaSean.
I make sense of the world by translating it into words, sound, and story.
By training, I’m a communicator. By instinct, I’m a storyteller. My work lives at the intersection of culture, technology, politics, and feeling. I’ve spent years shaping narratives in public life and global institutions, helping people understand complex ideas, moments of crisis, and systems that often feel distant or opaque.
Music and poetry are where that work becomes personal.
I’m the Problem is a reflection on identity, responsibility, love, grief, and the quiet negotiations we all make with ourselves. I wrote every lyric and concept on this project. The music itself is AI-generated. That choice is intentional. It allows me to explore authorship, voice, and emotion in a world where technology increasingly mediates how we create, learn, and connect.
This site is a home for all of it. The writing. The music. The thinking. The experiments. Some things here are polished. Others are in motion. All of it is honest.
If you’re here to listen, read, or simply sit with the work for a moment, you’re welcome.
