Hey y’all,

I know it’s been a while, but this pandemic has really gone into high gear, and mama has been hibernating trying to avoid the worst of what Ms. Rona and 2021 have to offer.

All in all, we are blessed. We live on a beautiful island, lots of things are open (although this is likely to change fairly soon), and we have family and friends who love us very dearly.

Speaking of friends, big gigantic shout out to those of you who’ve sent care packages. Please note that care packages are ALWAYS welcome, lol!

In exchange, I would like to share with you a brand new cocktail I just created. I would like to called it a “Kriol Fashioned.”

First, you have to make peach cobbler. Save some of the syrup from the cans and put it to the side. Fill a whiskey tumbler generously with ice, then add one ounce of Garça Real “Ponche Mel de Cana,” one ounce of the peach syrup from the can, and top off the tumbler with fever tree tonic. Stir and serve with your peach cobbler.

For those who are having trouble finding Garça Real, hit me up and I will try to get some to you.
