Baking is My Love Language

Y’all,

Taking some time away from work makes one hell of a difference. I know many of you have noticed my patience with Ms Rona and her bitch ass cousins grow thinner with every passing day. I miss my family, I miss my friends … and when our vacation plans fell through last week … well … I had a little meltdown.

But you know what … things could be worse, right. So today, my babe wanted some bread. So I baked a loaf of bread … and I through in a beef stew, macaroni and cheese and garlic butter green beans.

Low key … it was a lot of fun cooking and washing dishes. I heard my work phone ping in the distance, but I continued to cook and bake. And when my husband said that it was the best I had ever done - that’s all I needed.
